Do you notice that you have the most fun when around people? Especially when surrounded by people you love! Here are three reasons why sharing your life with a partner makes everything much more fun!

Sharing joy

Essentially, a partner relationship means two individuals decide to share their lives. After this decision, they become a team. And like everywhere in sports, the team is more important than each member. Still, the team’s success also depends on each player’s level.

The same happens with partner relationships. When each party is joyful by default, they shine when they come together as a team. The amount of joy they can share with the world is not only doubled but multiplied tens or hundred times over!

Many think relationships need to be managed constantly and require a lot of effort. That can be true, but they usually miss an essential bit in relationships. If the partners, instead of sharing, use the relationship to extract joy from each other, the relationship is bound to often feel like a weight.

When there are no gaps to fill in your life, relationships become a solely conscious choice and an opportunity to share your joy with the other person and, subsequently, the world.

Union is the nature of our desire process

Humans seem to always want more. From a particular perspective, you may go as far as to argue that it is human nature to want it all. But what does it mean when you want something or someone? You essentially try to make whatever you desire yours. That’s the definition of a union.

In one way or another, people seek to unite with everything around them. The more they do that, the more joyful they are and the more fulfilled they feel. Everything from a simple act of kindness to a multi-million-dollar donation all points to the same thing: including the other as part of yourself.

It might be challenging to embrace everyone as yourself in today’s world, mainly because you may fear someone will hurt you or exploit your inclusivity. Although there are many ways to be inclusive, deciding to share your life with a partner gives you the safe room to practice this union every human is longing for. And with time, you may include the whole world as part of yourself.

Love is a sweet emotion

You can even think of love as this immense longing to include the other as part of yourself. And when you are loving, you are essentially responding freely and openly to everything around you. You may use the other person as a way to be loving, but the whole world can feel your love.

Whether you decide to be loving in the first place or you use your partner as a reminder to be loving, you become a sweeter human being and a more pleasant person to be around. Just think of the last time you were in love with someone. Even if that someone was not around, you were loving and a more joyful presence. That says a lot!

Love is not something you do; it is the way you are. Although being loving is a choice, your life partner can be a tremendous help in you staying loving all the time. After all, when you are with that person, love is an emotion that comes naturally. When you are like that, your feelings will be sweet, and the whole world can benefit from your love. It is a win-win for everyone!
